Linen Closet Loaded Envelope

Howdy! and welcome to my little slice of blog-land.  I am so happy you are here.  I have been working on a new-to-me project, and I couldn't wait to finish it, to share with you!  Now, please have a kind eye, as I said, this is new to me.  So, if you have any suggestions, please add in the comments {smile}.  I just love you guys!

So, a few years back, Loaded Envelopes were all the rage.  Me, I just couldn't jump on board, because I just couldn't see the loveliness of them.  Well, that all changes about a week ago.  (Hey, better late then never.)  

And, probably like a lot of  you, I didn't want to use 'reserved' paper for a new project.  So, I went hunting in my craft room, and found an unopened paper pad.  Shocking right? like that has never happened to you? {smile}

So, I am entering my new project in a few challenges, but wanted to share my uncompleted project now.  I will add some more photos as it progresses {smile}.  I have to admit, that I am super excited!

My first challenge entry is an all time favorite: Word Art Wednesday - anything goes.  This group of super talented ladies will certainly inspire you!

and my second entry is to the wonderful Brown Sugar Challenge Blog - anything goes.  Another great place to be inspired.

So, like I said, a project in the process.  I did complete a few things, and added them.  But, I have a few more items that I want to add.  I used the paper pack: Linen Closet by DCWV (Die Cuts With a View).  I purchased this paper pad almost 2years ago, when Jo-Anns was having a huge paper sale.  I knew that I would eventually use it, just hadn't decided on what.  

I love this paper pad, because it all coordinates.  The papers are a mix of blues, cream/white, and yellow, with gold accents.  Simply beautiful.  

I didn't want to over load this post with a hundred photos, so I will be sharing photos throughout the week(s) to come.  (promise {smile}).

Evening Tea

Howdy.  I am trying to get back into my craft room, and create beautiful things again.  And yesterday, I was motivated to create something sweet, to share with a wonderful group of ladies.  As some of you know, I have started going to the gym.  Mostly, to help me with my running.  I still don't love running, but I want to improve on my time, form, and ease the struggles.  Anyways, I have met some of the nicest ladies there.  They don't judge, or sh*t talk about anyone.  They accept you for who you are, and encourage you to keep going.  How truly wonderful is that?  Anyways, I wanted to share a special treat with them, so I arranged to have an evening tea, to share with them.  (I made all of these arrangements back in April.  Thank goodness, because I am not sure I would have had the strength to do so now.)

And as you know, I can't just do a party!  There has to be favors!  But, first, let me enter my creations into a few challenges {smile}.  I love the challenges @ Really Reasonable Ribbon, basically, because they give you the freedom to just create, add ribbon, trim, or lace, and call it done.  Super sweet!

Then, I entered the challenge over @ Word Art Wednesday, because this group of talented ladies are inspiring with their words and creations.  They basically have the same philosophy: create something beautiful, made with your heart, and share it with the rest of us.  Simply wonderful!  Just like my gym ladies!

The theme for last nights evening tea, was Mid Summer's Night, by William Shakespeare.  The decorations were wonderfully right on point.  And the food was simply amazing!  I am never disappointed, or dissatisfied.  My friend Beth, always puts on the most amazing events!  So, my favors need to be worthy, and pretty, and shabby chic, of course! 

Here is what I made:

Recipe:  I used simple 8oz mason jars.  I used various papers from the Jolee's Boutique paper pad, the Parisian Collection.  I cut pattern paper 8 1/2" x 2 1/2", and wrapped it around the jar.  I made sure the top edge of the paper went along the rim of the jar, to keep it straight.  I cut two strips, and used a lace border punch, to create the decorative kraft paper pieces.  I adhered them to the second strip of pattern paper 8 1/2" x 1 1/4".  I adhered these strips to the top center of the first pattern paper.  I wrapped seam binding around the jar, for decoration, and to help secure the pattern papers.  I tied the seam binding into a simple bow.  I used hot glue to secure the bow to the pattern papers.  I stamped my word friends in basic black ink, on to the same kraft paper, and punched a tag shape.  I tied the tiny tag to a matching button with kraft twine and hot glued the button to the jar.

For the lid, I cut out a paper doily, and used the jar's lid to hold it in place, and hot glued a paper blossom to the doily.  Viola!  not to crazy involved, but simply pretty.

So, inside the jars are some homemade Vanilla-Orange sugar cubes, and 2 Cinnamon Honey tea bags.

I wanted to make something sweet for my hostess Beth, so I added some homemade Vanilla-Orange sugar pieces to smaller mason jars (4oz), and created a simpler version of the jar decorations.

and a 'gift' for the hostess and her helper:

I added a strip of pretty pattern paper around the jar, tied some vanilla crochet trim around the jars.  I made the same tags, and tied them to cream vintage buttons.  For the tops, I added pale mint velvet leaf, and two paper blossoms in black and cream to match the pattern papers.

There were two ladies who did not make the tea, so I left their favors for Beth and her assistant.  I hope everyone enjoyed their time last night.  As we got a chance to sit and chat, and talk about ourselves, and what makes us happy.  Of course, we laughed, and shared our time together.  The food was delicious, the tea selected was a perfect pairing, and the company was unforgettable!

Happy Birthday Mom; Card

Hello, and Happy Birthday Mom!  I made a birthday card a few weeks ago, and have kept it under wraps.  My mom reads my blog.  {smile}  The birthday card I made, is, yeah, for my mom.  Her birthday is actually today.  So, I can 'share' my creation with you today.  My mom's Birthday card will be in her snail mail box today!  Sure happy and sure excited for her!  Because who doesn't love snail mail that isn't a bill or some junk mail [that doesn't even make it in the house]. {smile}

Ok, this card is an A2 size card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Love this size!  So, let's get right to business, so you know how I made it, and you can use some of these techniques yourself.

For the card base, I used Wisteria Wonder card stock by Stampin' Up!  It's a beautifully heavy weight card stock.  I used a light weight card stock by Amuse Studios in Taupe for the matt.  I used three different, but coordinating pattern papers from Tilda for the card.  I added a pale grey blue floral pattern paper for the main panel.  I added a darker blue tiny floral pattern paper and a pink leaf pattern paper.  [I matched the pinks in the blossoms when selecting the pattern papers.]

I used the edge of my scissors to rough-up the edges of the paper panels.  I did sponge some kraft ink onto the edges to help convey the 'time' or 'age' of the card.  I also used the edge of the scissors to create the 'rip'.  I added a polka dot pattern paper in that area.  I wanted something contrasting, but coordinating.  {smile}

I added a purposefully sloppy double border with my sewing machine.  [I love this look.]  I added some sponging on top of the stitching, to help them 'pop'.  

I had a scrap piece of white cotton trim that was tea dyed, so I stitched that piece onto the front of the card too.  

I strung kraft twine through a trio of lavender moon vintage buttons by PaperTrey Ink and adhered them to the pink leaf pattern paper.  I kept the twine long on purpose.  

The TAG:  this is the focal piece, and one that I'm super happy with {smile}.  I used a scrap piece of taupe card stock for the tag base.  I tied a small piece of wisteria wonder seam binding through the hole, but wanted something more.  so I added a bow tied with lavender thin tinsel.  I love how it adds some sparkle and softness to the over-all whole look of the card. {smile}

My sentiment was created with heat embossing and simple stamping.  I stamped the sentiment in versa mark onto vellum card stock and added silver embossing powder and heat embossed.  I just love how soft and elegant the silver embossing looks.  I used the hand script stamp set by PaperTrey Ink.  I added my adhesive to the back of the vellum piece where the sentiment is to help 'hide' the adhesive, which can be seen through this semi-translucent card stock.  I stamped the 'happy birthday' onto whisper white card stock in basic black classic ink, using Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set by Stampin' Up!.  Then I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it to the vellum piece.  

I added a gift card to the inside of the card.  That way, my mom can celebrate HER day, anyway she wants: shopping, dining, relaxing at the spa, or simply going to afternoon tea with girlfriends.

Sweet Blush Thank You; Card

Howdy! and welcome to my little piece of blog-land.  Here, is where I share my passion for card making, and sometimes cupcakes {smile}.  I really do find joy, and peace when I am creating.  And it doesn't matter if it is baking or paper crafting.  The joy is the same.  

I wanted to make another card to add to my Etsy shop, located HERE.  But I needed some inspiration, so I set out to a favorite challenge site, and stumbled upon a new (to me) challenge site {smile}.  

One of my favorite challenge site I visited, Just Us GirlS #333.  It's their 'word week', and this week's word is FLOWERS! On my! I love adding flowers to my paper crafts, so I am playing along with these beautifully creative ladies!

The last challenge I am entering is a 'new' challenge site for me.  I stumbled upon this challenge from visiting a fellow blogger that I follow.  This challenge site is eastern European.  They do not have a 'translate' button, so copy and paste the text into Google Translator.  Shabby Scrap - use rose(s). 

here is what I made:

Recipe:  I used Cream card stock by Paper Trey Ink for the card base.  This card stock is a heavy weight, and wonderful as a card base.   The card size is A6 (4 1/4" x 6").

The three pattern papers are digital papers.  I just fell in love with the pale pink, and blush colors!  I sponged the floral digital paper with crumb cake classic ink.  I trimmed and sponged the library card digital paper.  I rounded two of the corners for a different look, other than a right angle.  I adhered these two digital papers together before I added the machine stitching.  I also added dimensional glaze to the 'front' blue bird.  I loved the pop of color!

I added cream twine to the trio of blush vintage buttons, and adhered them to the card front with my glue gun.  

I used a leaf punch and some shimmer green textured card stock to create the leaves.  I tucked the leaves under the two pale pink paper blossoms.  The larger pink blossom is from Prima Marketing.  The smaller pink blossom is a 'carnation' from an on-line shop.

I trimmed the journalling piece into a tag.  I sponged the edges, and added a hole for the seam binding.  I did a simple loop of pale pink seam binding and tied a simple bow with a pale pink/blush colored thin tinsel.  I added a pale blush paper blossom to the bow.  The tag was adhered to the card front with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment onto vellum card stock and adhered to the front of the tag.  (I added my adhesive where the lettering is, so that the adhesive wouldn't show through.) 

I used the Signature Greetings, by Amuse Studios.  I heat embossed the sentiment with antique gold embossing powder.

Green & Red Poinsettia Gift Bag

Howdy.  I have been having such a great time making these little fabric scrap Christmas 'trees' that I just had to make another. {smile}.  And today, I am on my second post of these gift bags.  I used the same fabric as the previous post, but this time I created a 'green' bag.

I am entering this bag into these three challenges:  Die Cuttin Divas, Inky Impressions Challenge, and Crafting By Desings.   

The wonderfully talented ladies over @ Die Cutting Divas have a great holiday preparations challenge:  Tag, Bag, or Box.  Sounds perfect! and let's just admit it, something we need to get crafting, anyways.  {smile}

I am playing along with the creative design team over @ Inky Impressions Challenge.   Their current challenge is to use: Traditional Christmas Colors: Red, Green, and Kraft.  I believe this is right up my alley, so to speak.  The design team has done a wonderful job at providing us with some inspiration.  

I am also playing along with the ever inspiring design team over @ Crafting By Designs.   Their current challenge is themed: getting ready for Christmas.  I think all of us can create something beautiful to play along with their challenge, too. {smile}

Finally, I am using the inspirational photo from the card Concept.  I am not 'playing' along with their challenge, due to the fact, that their challenge site is for cards, and not projects.  But their inspirational photo is very beautiful, home-y, and a bit vintage-country. {smile}

and here is my Green version of my holiday gift bag:

Recipe:  I used green card stock to create the bag shape.  It measures 4 3/4" x 12".  A nice size for that special holiday gift.  {smile}

To create the 'tree' I tied on strips of fabric from a fat quarter set by Stampin' Up!.  It is retired.  But I love the red blossoms, the green accents and the brown patterns.  Very pretty, vintage-y, and a bit country.

I also added some crochet trims, tree tinsel, green velvet ribbon with red satin backing, and a brown gingham ribbon.

The fabric, trims, and ribbons are tied to a kraft striped paper straw.  I topped my 'tree' with a single red paper rose.

I tied on a trio of vintage buttons with kraft twine.

The background and sentiment are hand-stamped using crumb cake classic ink.  I just love how soft and 'innocent' this color looks on vanilla card stock.

I love to add some machine stitching to my hand-crafted cards and projects.  I think it 'finish'es a project, and adds that special homemade touch.  {smile}  I also added some machine stitching to the sentiment rectangle.

Scraps of Trim 'Tree'; Gift Bag

Howdy.  Whew.  I'm been busy.  Busy like everyone else!  This was a big week to cook; which I love!  I really do enjoy baking and cooking.  Creating beautiful, delicious food is one of my passions.  I think food should not only look great, but taste great!  Thanksgiving, is my husbands favorite holiday, because of the food.  Funny, huh?  

One of my other passions is crafting.  Mostly paper crafting.  I love to create beautiful things out of paper.  I made a 'tree' out of scraps of fabric, and totally loved how super cute they came out.  And while I was visiting some of my favorite challenge sites, I read the post of 'Lace' @ Shabby Chic .  It did give me an idea on making a 'tree' out of scrap pieces of lace, crochet trim, and ribbon.  I am pretty happy with they came out.  [they, I made two {smile}].

I am entering a few challenges today with my little creation:  Love to Scrap  , Die Cutting Divas , Scrap & Craft Inspiration , and Crafting By Designs.

The talented ladies over @ Love To Scrap! , will surely inspire you with they variety of creative styles.  Their current challenge:  Anything Goes.

The talented ladies over @ Die Cutting Divas, have a current challenge: Tag, Bag or Box.  You should see the great boxes, bags, and tags these ladies made.  Very inspiring.
The design team over @ Scrap & Craft Inspiration have a current challenge: Shabby Chic or Vintage.  These creative ladies are located in Europe.  and therefore, their styles of crafting is very layered, with lots of embellishing.  Very beautiful, very inspiring,  and very creative.
And finally, the lovely ladies over @ Crafting by Designs, have a current challenge: Get Ready for Christmas.  I strongly encourage you to take a look at this creative design team's entries.  Just lovely!

here is what I made:

I used crumb cake card stock for the 'bag'.  I used a gold card stock as my matt.  I think it adds a bit of  glamour to my bag.  I used shimmer white card stock for the main panel.  I stamped my three different size snowflakes in two different kraft colored inks: crumb cake classic ink, and classic kraft ink.  I used my sewing machine to add a 'homespun' look to my bag, by sewing a simple border.  

I collected my trims: crochet trims, cotton trims, ribbons, and thin tinsels, and tied them around a cinnamon stick.  I added a trio of buttons.  I tied them on to the cinnamon stick with a gold, silver, and cream twine.  And I added a Melissa Frances rhinestone button to the top of the cinnamon stick.

My sentiment is stamped and matted the same way I did the main panel of the bag.

Magnetic Monograms

Howdy.  I am trying to make a conscious effort in photographing what I create, to sell at the Holiday Craft Fairs I am participating in this holiday season.  And, so, I have a few photos.  I hand-craft magnetic monograms, and price to sell.  I take chipboard, and cover it in beautiful paper, paint it, and then decorate it.  The final touch is adhering two very strong magnets to the back.  That way, you can add your initial to any metal surface: locker, refrigerator, metal door, metal message board, and similar items.

Fancy cotton trims, sweet wrinkled seam binding, pretty vintage buttons, and interesting stick pins adorn these 4" letters.  Two strong magnets are adhered to the back of each letter.

This is all that I crafted today.  I could have finished a few more.  But, I have a habit of crafting the 'same'.  So, I figure I would take a break, and then come back to finish several more.  And maybe {fingers crossed} they all don't look alike.  {smile}

Now, I'm off to finish a few more gift bags.  I'm using Tidings pattern paper by Authentique for several of the gift bags (7-8).  Just incase a buyer would like a set of three or four.  {smile}  But, as you know, arrive early to my booth, at the craft fair, for the best selection.    If you would like a post card that has my craft fair schedule, please email me your address, and I'll drop one off in the mail {smile}.

Life is Sweet with You: Card

Howdy! and welcome!   I hope your weekend is off to a good start.  Me, I've been crafting, and will be heading out the door soon to go for a run.  [so for me . . . pretty good {smile}]

I have several challenge sites, that I visit on my day off, and on Tuesday, I saw the notice that one of my all time favorite challenge sites is stopping.  Card abilities  {frown}  This breaks my heart!  I have found their sketches to be very easy to work with, and the inspiration from the design team has always been spot on!  But, I must admit, that I totally understand their decision.  So, here I sit, with my fingers crossed, that they will find the opportunity to continue their sketch challenge site.  

So, for their last sketch (for now) I really wanted to play along.  I felt that I just had to!  And my week was spent trying to find the 'right' paper and the 'right' embellishments to play along with this awesome group of ladies.  I didn't just want to play along, I really wanted to show them my love for them, and that I will miss them {frown}.  So, here is the current sketch over @ Cardabilities :

Ok, see what I mean about their sketches?  Just gorgeous!

and here is what I created:

This greeting card, pretty much says it all:  Life is sweeter with you!  And it sure is!  This greeting card measures 4 1/4" x 6".  It's a tad smaller than an A6 card, and a bit larger than an A2 card.   I use A6 envelopes for this size card.  It's a bit large, but it really works with my embellishments.  And there is a nice size of blank space inside to write your message.  {smile}

Recipe:  The card base is made with cream card stock by Paper Trey Ink.  They make wonderful weight card stock.  The 'brown' matt is actually kraft card stock by Paper Studio.  And that gorgeous  pattern paper is actually a digital paper.  I brushed some shimmer paint and white paint randomly (and lightly) on the digital paper.

I machine stitched a simple border around the digital paper and the kraft matt.  I used an aqua polka dot pattern paper from Paper Trey Ink, some cream lace trim from Walmart, and cream twill ribbon from Paper Trey Ink, to give this card a shabby chic look.  And I machine stitched them to the card front as well.

I stamped my sentiment from Close To My Heart, in going grey classic ink, by Stampin' Up!, onto very vanilla card stock, by Stampin' Up!, too.  I added a matt made from textured pool party card stock, by Stampin' Up!  I hand cut the circle.  I used some sanding paper, to help smooth out the uneven edges.  I cut a scallop circle with my extra large scallop punch by Stampin' Up! and adhered this piece to the card front with foam tape (dimensionals) by Stampin' Up!

I added a trio of buttons.  [I love buttons.]  I had a lone pink paper blossom sitting on my craft desk that was the perfect color.  So, I brushed on some shimmer paint to the petal edges.  I made a bow from the cream twill ribbon and adhered them to the card front with hot glue.  I tucked three leaf sprigs under the paper blossom.

The bumble bee I made with some sparkle white clay.  I recently purchased the mold from a shop on Etsy.  And I love how they came out.  [I typically make several clay pieces, from several molds at one time.]

I did finish the inside of the card.  I started doing that recently, and I am happy so far with the look.

I used the kraft card stock to make the matt.  I added very vanilla card stock for the inner piece.  I had a scrap piece of the aqua polka dot pattern paper on my craft desk and thought I should add that to the inside.  I also machine stitched a scrap piece of cream pom pom trim.  I think it looks sweet.

Magnetic A

Welcome.  Yeah, I've been busy crafting! and all I can say, is, YAHOO!  I just love it!  It really does my heart and soul good to create something with paper, seam binding, and buttons!  happy, happy, happy!  {big grin}

All of the items I am sharing with you, are for sale in my Etsy shop, HERE.  And what doesn't sell, will be for sale at several local (Albuquerque, New Mexico) holiday craft shows.  [please note, that I have not shared everything I have made for the craft fairs on my blog.  some items either don't photograph well, or don't ship well.]

One of my top sellers, are magnetic monograms.  I take 4" tall letters, and alter them.  I use pattern papers I have on hand, and add various embellishments.  You know me, seam binding, and a vintage button or two, and always something feminine like a rhinestone(s) or pearl(s). {smile}

All I have left to do, to finish this monogram, is to adhere the two round, strong magnets to the back, and viola!  

I used a scrap piece (4" x 4") of my favorite text pattern paper from Melissa Frances.  I love the dark grey color of the text, and the beautiful font.  This pattern paper is very easy to work with.  You add the color you love!  I painted the letter with a pearl cream color paint.  I wanted to keep the letter neutral, so the color doesn't compete with the pattern paper.

I wrapped some white crochet trim around the lower portion of the wide leg of the letter.  I wrapped some pale pumpkin dyed muslin around the middle of the letter and tied it in a simple bow.  I added a light coral lace blossom from Prima, Coffee Break collection.  I just love the soft, beautiful look of these lace blossoms.  

I added a light coral paper blossom just above the lace blossom.  I added some of the pearl cream paint to the tips of the paper blossom.  I tucked in a clock stick pin from Prima.  And finally, I added two berry sorbet vintage buttons, from Paper Trey Ink.  And finally, I wanted to add some sparkle, so I cut the legs off a rhinestone brad, and tucked it in close to the muslin bow.

Kitten & Buttons Notebook

Howdy!  I had an urge to make a few more altered notebooks last night.  I don't know if it the fact that I had a few hours alone at home (aka: craft room) or that I got to work with a wonderful lady yesterday {smile}!  Either way, no matter the spark, I took advantage of the creative push!

I noticed that the wonderful ladies over @ Paper Ladybirds have a beautiful color challenge.  This challenge site is from Russia, but don't let that stop you!  This design team is very talented and inspirational!  Here is the color challenge board:

Beautiful, right?!  So, I selected papers from Tilda: Happiness is Homemade.  This pattern paper collection is just so gorgeous!  It reminds me of vintage wallpaper, and fabrics prints.  Just so calming, pretty, and very easy to use!  The button card is from Tilda, also.  The buttons are from Paper Trey Ink: vintage buttons: ripe avecado and sweet blush.   The buttons are actually stitched to the cover of the mini notebook.  I just love their button collections.  You get 150 buttons of a particular color in various sizes.  The saddle stitch ribbon is from Paper Trey Ink: sweet blush.  I just love the pale, sweet pink color, with the contrasting white stitching.  Just so sweet!  I also added a scrap of the pattern paper to the inside of the pen barrel, so that the pen 'belongs'.  

I added a neutral paper doily from Recollections under the button card.  I thought the open loop design added a feminine touch to the cover.  I also added a Junk Bow to the top of the button card.  I used some scrap pieces of lace, fabric, seam binding, and crochet trim to create the junk bow.  I added a single mini paper blossom to the top of the junk bow, to add a little more sweetness.  {smile}

As you may know, I have Tuesdays off from work.  I use this day to get chores done, run errands, and have time home alone to craft.  Aww, there is nothing better than crafting home alone, once the house is cleaned, the laundry done, and dinner is in the oven.  {smile}

I typically stop by I Love Scrap challenge blog to see what the current challenge is.  And I don't typically play along.  But, I really love this sketch, and wanted to play with some papers I have on hand.

I wanted a little more direction, so I started looking around the world wide web, and stubbled upon another creative challenge site: Vanilla Wonders.  They are hosting a pretty creative challenge.  Basically, include cabbage roses (real, or imagery) and include tenderness.  You can also create a card or a tag.  I created a card.

Recipe:  I used kraft card stock for the card base.  I used a left over piece of text pattern paper from my Forget Me Not collection.  I had a scrap piece of the tiny floral pattern paper from my Tilda collection.  The focal floral/text image is actually a digital download.  I printed it onto whisper white card stock, by Stampin' Up!.  This card stock is wonderful to print digital images onto.  I added a double border of machine stitching, and distressed the edges of these pattern papers.

I added a pink rose ticket, which is a digital download, also.  I added a balsa wood frame around the word 'ticket'.  I added a small collection of pink sequins inside the frame.  I also stamped my sentiment, 'celebrate TODAY' right onto the ticket, in Jet Black Staz-On pigment ink.

I added a collection of seam binding, lace, and trim along the bottom of my pattern papers.  I machine stitched the trims to the card front.  I tied a multi-loop bow with the cream colored seam binding.  I added some white paint and glitter to the little wooden button, and tied it to the bow with some cream twine.

Holiday Banners

I am having a great weekend.  I got to see some wonderful girl friends and I got a lot of crafting done!  Yahoo!

And so, I want to share with you what I made.  I created some banners (ok, 2) out of thick chipboard, and some wonderful holiday pattern paper: Christmas by Fancy Pants.  Here is what they look like:

I used a variety of the pattern papers.  I just love the mix of blue and red and green.  Just gorgeous and festive and playful.  Love it.  

I cut a large scallop trim piece from one pattern paper and matted it onto cherry cobbler card stock.  I machine stitched it, to give it a home-made and nostalgic look.  I also used cherry cobbler card stock to create the scallop circles under the rosettes.

I created the rosettes by hand.  I scored a 1" x 12" strip of pattern paper every 1/4".  I stamped and heat embossed the letters in early espresso embossing powder onto shimmer white card stock.  I matted the letters onto cherry cobbler card stock, and then ocean tides card stock.  

I used ocean tides ribbon from Paper trey ink.  I tied red vintage buttons on to each bow.   I have both banners for sale in my Etsy shop HERE.  Don't forget, my easy shop will be closed the day before, the day of, and the day after each craft fair.
