Mojo meets Creative Corner

Happy Saturday to everyone!  This holiday weekend, should be productive.  Well, to get the creative juices turning, Lori has another fun challenge for us (yes, that means you, too!) over @ Our Creative Corner.  Lori has a color challenge.  Well, I needed a bit more inspiration, so I headed over to Mojo Monday #209 to see what they had.

Here are the colors:
Here is the sketch:

And, here is what I made!:

All supplies used are Stampin' Up!.  I used the spice cake DSP and the scallop trim punch and the pennant die.  The leaf I stamped the outline in chocolate chip craft and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I stamped the inside with Cajun Craze.  I fussy cut the leaf and sponged the edges.  I adhered the leaf with foam tape to lift it off the card.  The ribbon I cheated.  I had tied this bow a few weeks back, and it was still on my crafting table.  It was the perfect size :)
Thank you for stopping by! and enjoy Columbus Day weekend!

Wow, Sharon, this is just gorgeous! I love the combination of colors and patters on that beautiful DP. Your card is so rich and vibrant with color. Fabulous job with this color challenge, especially with bringing the blue into the mix - I really struggled with that. Terrific take on the Mojo Monday sketch too.

Hope you are having a great weekend.

Hugs,
Linda

Wow, Sharon! Is this ever beautiful! I just love all of the lovely layers and the mix of patterns. That paper has to be one of my favorites, in a very long time. I especially like the newsprint paper behind the little leaf. Good thing you found a home for that bow, too! Gotta love when you find those treasures already made on your desk. Have a great rest of your day! :)
