colored rolled flowers

It's Thursday, and that means we are one more day closer to the weekend!  I'm having my second Christmas card class this weekend.  My SIL is racing this weekend also.  So, there is alot planned.  The lovely ladies over at Creative Sketches have a wonderful color challenge for us (including you) this week.  Here is the color inspiration:

The colors for this weeks challenge are: soft suede, basic black, crumb cake, and cajun craze.  Sounds like masculine themes.
Here is the card I created:

This card was alot of fun to create.  I inked one of my all time favorite stamp sets: Friends 24-7.   I just love the wonderful images in this stamp set.  But, it is retired.  I created my own rolled flowers.  I used the First Edition DSP to get the text paper.  I made my own shimmer mist with cajun craze re-inker.  I punched basic black and crumb cake dsp to create the leaves.  I stamped the chair image in soft suede.  The sentiment, 'cherish' is a play on words.  The image is a chair.  I thought is was 'cute'.  Join us for this week's color challenge!  Who knows, you may be our next winner of our challenge!
