Simply 'Happy Mother's Day!'

I was playing around with my Watercolor Trio stamp set, getting ready for my Open House today, and made this wondrerfully simple card. I used my markers to 'color' the stamp, mist with water and stamped on my cardstock. I didn't want my greeting to be too dark, so I inked my stamp with Close to Cocoa classic ink. I liked the way this simple, yet pretty card turned out.
What do you think? Like it, love it, too simple for your taste? Let me know. Post a comment. I'd love to hear what other's think.

I love the simplicity of this card. It has just the right "feel" to it! I have tried this set yet! I have never tried the misting technique. Do you just mist the stamp after you color it and then stamp it onto the paper? Thanks for sharing this beautiful card!

1. 'color' your stamp with your water-based markers.
2. hold your stamp 5-6 inches away from you, and mist the rubber with water. (You want a sprayer with fine mist)
3. stamp on your card stock.
As always, practice on your blotter paper before you stamp on your cardstock.
I hope you like the outcome. Its a very forgiving technique.
