Howdy. I set out to finish my champagne shabby chic holiday tree. Now before you remind me that this is only March, and November is quite a few months away; I know. I just wanted to get a jump start on holiday craft fairs. I didn't make this tree to sell at the craft fairs, but rather as a booth decoration. Something to catch your eye, and draw you into my booth {smile}.
I used some champagne colored blossom trim, to cover a styrofoam cone. I added some silver german glass glitter to the edges of the blossom petals. And to finish it off, I added some mercury glass ornaments. I used pearl-end corsage pins to attach the ornaments to the styrofoam cone. And then I topped off the tree with a rhinestone and bead star.
Now that I see the photo I took, I am not completely happy with my tree. I think I need more glass glitter {smile}.
