Soft Christmas

Howdy!  So glad that you stopped by.  This has been a   l o n g  week, and I have to say, that the weekend is a very welcome sight.  But, before I get off on my whining tangent, I'd like to share a card I made!
Fridays, are the day, that we share this weeks challenge @ Sketch Frenzy Friday.  Each week, we, the design team members, take turns creating sketches for everyone to try.  This week, happens to be the week that I designed the sketch.  I have to admit, that I love sharing this side of my creativity.
Here is this weeks challenge:

Here is what I created:

For this card base, I used pool party card stock.  I just love the textured look, so I ran a pool party panel inside the vintage wall paper embossing folder.  I swiped my white craft ink pad along the edges, to give the card a distressed look.  I thought crumb cake might look too dirty, and not vintage.  I cut a decorative panel using very vanilla card stock.  I stamped the christmas ornament three times in certainly celery and rocked the stamp in pool party.  I used the ornament punch, to get that beautiful shape.  I folded each ornament in half and adhered them together.  So, it looks 3-D.  I crinkled the seam binding and tied it in a bow.
For my decorative piece, I used the snowflake punch and first edition DSP.  I punched a 1" circle from the silver glimmer paper.  I stamped the Merry Christmas in crumb cake classic ink.  I layered the three pieces together.
Thank you for looking.  I appreciate you taking the time to stop by.  I hope that you have a chance to play along with us @ Sketch Frenzy Friday.  I know that we would love to see what you create!

This is so elegant Sharon! I love the blue coloring on the embossing and the cluster of eye candy elements share the space wonderfully together and still let that gorgeous card base shine! Nicely done my friend :)
hugs,
