Saturday is the perfect day to take a few minutes, have a second cup of coffee, a latte, or what ever is your am vise.  Me, it's a latte.  one raw sugar.  pipin' hot!  The best part of Saturday for me, is the quiet in the morning.  We live in the Sandia mountains in New Mexico.  So, the only noise out here, is the birds, coyotes, an occassional bear, and one of our very few neighbors driving by.  That makes Saturday mornings completely quiet.  My usual routine on Saturday mornings is to get on the internet and check out my bookmark blogs and challenge sites.  I love to see what my favorite paper crafting folks have been creating, and what new challenges are out there.
Holly, from Kean on Paper is the hostess this month over @ Our Creative Corner challenge blog.  This week, Holly has a very creative challenge for you.  So, if you want to broaden your horizons and push your creative mojo a bit, join us in this 'window' challenge.  Pop on over to the Our Creative Corner challenge site, to get the details.

Here is my card:

I have to admit, Holly, is so clever.  This was a fantastic challenge!  Your card must have a window, so let your creative spirit run wild!  I did!  I used paper from 2 different companies, stamps from 3 different companies, and embellishments from 4 different companies.  Whew!  Most of the items used to create this card, are from Stampin' Up!  I just love the quality of their products.
The great thing about this card, is that if you flatten this card, it will fit in a standard A2 envelope.  Pretty neat, huh?
So, thank you for stopping by and having a look-see :) please head over to the Our Creative Corner challenge blog, and see what the rest of this super creative design team has created!

I quick side note:  I made this card for a co-worker.  She is celebrating her birthday this week!  She is pretty great, so I just had to create something wonderful!

Love your card for this challenge, Sharon! Such a clever design - I don't think I have seen one done exactly like that before. Your beautiful shabby fabric flower makes a wonderful focal point. I love the all over soft vintage feel of the card.

Hope you have had a great weekend!

Hugs,
Lnda
