a flower and a spritz

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for another challenge over @ Stampin' Queens Sketch Challenge.  I hope you are finding time to play along with us.  We have some gorgeous sketches for help you express your creativity!  And, please stop by the challenge site to see what this creative design team have created.  There are samples of everything from birthday wishes, a wonderfully colored bird,  and a few Christmas cards.  Use your Stampin' Up! products, and show us what you can create!

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

I used three solid cardstocks (pear pizzazz, real red, and early espresso) , 2 different pattern papers  (first edition and holly berry bouquet), and 3 stamp sets  (you're a gem, best friends forever, and frame it).   And yes, the Holly Berry Bouquet DSP is actually a holiday themed paper.  But, doesn't it look fabulous?  Why only use it for the holidays?  I also used the new quilted satin ribbon in early espresso.  I love this ribbon because it adds some texture and visual interest for your card, but its not bulky.  You can tie beautiful bows!  I made my flower with the little die,' Flower Fusion'.  I spritz the flowers with water and crumpled each flower.   I love vanilla smooch and as you can tell I am almost out! That's why there are some blotching.  But, I think it helps add some character.
So, if you can, please play along with us and lets see what you create!
