Sarah G., over @ THinKING STAMPS is the hostess for this weeks challenge over @ Our Creative Corner. The challenge is to use a sentiment stamp and stamp it repeatedly to create a background. Sounds pretty easy, huh? Well, it kinda wasn't for me. But, here is my card. My boss's wife had her baby earlier this week, and so I made them a 'baby' card. Yeah, they had a boy! Almost all the products used to create this card are from Stampin' Up! The stamp I used is a retired. But, I thought just stamping it repeatedly would be 'boring'. So, I used three different colors of classic ink (Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, & Chocolate Chip) since those colors were in the retired pattern paper I used. Boy, that stamp-a-ma-jig got a workout!
Thank you for taking the time to see what I've been doing. Now, get out a sentiment stamp and enter our challenge. Once you start stamping, it really isn't too much of a challenge. :) We would love to see what you come up with. Enjoy your weekend!

Oh how I love the colors of this! It is so perfectly coordinated and so sweet. Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog today, and as a fellow cake maker and lover, I'd love to see your creations!
This is beautiful - some of my favorite colors and papers of all time. Such an elegant baby card - I love it! And I hear you on the SAMJ - mine got a workout too but it was totally worth it!
Your card is absolutely stunning, Sharon! That color combo is just gorgeous and I really love that stamp - it has such a nice vintage look to it. Your paper is gorgeous and I really like how you alternated the ink colors of your BG stamping to match your paper. Super job on this week's challenge!
Hope you are having a great weekend.
Hugs,
Linda

Love the colors and this fun baby boy card!!! I love how you combined the three colors for the BG and the buttons are a perfect touch!
Hi Sharon! Your card has such great impact- it just screams "baby boy!" The different colored sentiments really make each one stand out. I'm sure your boss and his wife loved it!
Sharon, I love how you used your sentiment stamp in different colors. It's a great accent for the card. I always love that paper and the color combination. This is just a wonderful card!
