Stampalisious Card Club

My Technique & Tool Usage Card Club meets this Saturday! (the third Saturday of each month). This month the Techniques we are working with are: Heat Embossing and Dry Embossing. The Tools we are working with are: the Big Shot and the Heat Gun.
The first card, we are using an embossing folder, they are the easiest, but I will also get out my plates so they can have a try at that.
The second care, we are heat embossing the tree. (We will also be using the 'stamp-a-ma-jig' for placement.) I just L o v e the new raven lace trim Stampin' Up! has come out with. It is so delicate and beautiful, without being too 'girl-y'. I had to add a sparkly brad. Come-on it was screaming to be put on. :)
These cards aren't challenging with 50 steps, so my ladies will love them. Sometimes, you just want to make a card in under an hour. Know what I mean?
Thank you for looking! Have a wonderful week, its half over, so its all downhill from here!

magnetic message board

Here is my new favorite thing to make! They are super easy, and you can coordinate them with any decor! They are magnetic message boards! After I decorated the galvanized metal, I framed them. (the edges can be a bit sharp) The top image is one I did for a class this past Saturday! Yeah, we used ALL Stampin' Up! items. Didn't it turn out super! This month, all my classes focused on using retiring supplies, to help folks use up what they have, so they can make room for the new colors! The pebbles are magnetic and so is the photo holder. You can use it for receipts, tickets, photo, or a special place to hold the grocery list. I thought that it came out so quick and easy that I HAD to make one for my granddaughter! So the next two photos are of her magnetic message board. She is a princess and a girly girl! And her all time favorite color is pink! So, how fitting!
Thanks for looking! I am off to make an apron card to enter the JUGS latest challenge Jugs 39 - Template Challenge I'll also stop by Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge #157 to get the info to enter their latest challenge. Have a wonderful weekend!
